Pick up from your Luxor hotel. Walk through the Valley of the Kings, the ancient burial grounds of the Pharaohs from the New Kingdom, hidden in the limestone hills of Gurna. Your visit includes entry into 3 tombs, however if you wish to enter the tomb of Tutankhamun there is an additional ticket cost.
On the other side of the valley is the Valley of the Queens, the resting place for the wives and children of the Pharaohs. With more than seventy tombs many are stylish and lavishly decorated. Your visit includes entry into 3 tombs. Visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its unique design - the only temple in Egypt built in terrace formation into the cliff face. The relief sculpture within the temple recites the tale of the divine birth of a female pharaoh Â the first of its kind, along with the first commercial trading expedition to the ancient land of Punt (today Somalia).
On the return to your hotel, we stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are the only remaining standing statues fronting the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III and show the pharaoh sitting on his throne. Transfer back to your hotel.
